If your domain is registered somewhere other than CyberNet, you'll need to point it to our servers before your website goes live. There are two ways to do this.
Option 1: Change Your Nameservers (Recommended)
Log in to your domain registrar, find the nameserver or DNS settings, and replace the existing nameservers with the ones from your CyberNet welcome email. This hands over full DNS management to CyberNet, which is the simplest option for most people.
Option 2: Update Your A Record
If you want to keep DNS management at your current registrar, you can instead update the domain's A record to point to your CyberNet server's IP address, found in your welcome email or Plesk dashboard.
Wait for Propagation
Changes don't take effect instantly. DNS propagation can take anywhere from a few minutes to 24-48 hours as it spreads across the internet's DNS servers.
Confirm the Change
Once propagation completes, visiting your domain should load your new CyberNet-hosted site. If it still shows your old host, clear your browser cache or try a different network before assuming something's wrong.
