A down website is stressful, but a methodical check usually identifies the cause — and often a fix — within minutes.
Confirm It's Actually Down
Check from a different device, network, or a free "is it down" checking tool — sometimes it's a local network or DNS caching issue on your end, not the site itself.
Check Your CyberNet Status Page
If there's a known infrastructure issue affecting multiple accounts, it will typically be reflected on our status page before you even need to ask.
Did You Recently Make a Change?
A plugin update, a DNS change, or an edited configuration file are common triggers — reverting the most recent change often resolves the issue immediately.
Check for a Billing Issue
A missed payment resulting in suspension is a common, easily overlooked cause. Your Client Area will show if a service is currently suspended for this reason.
Check Your Domain's Expiration
An expired domain stops resolving entirely, which looks identical to a hosting outage from a visitor's perspective — verify your domain's status separately from your hosting.
When to Contact Support
If none of the above explains it, open a ticket immediately with what you've already checked — that context helps our team skip straight to the actual cause.
