How to Update Your Payment Method

Published on Jul 11, 2026 Updated on Jul 31, 2026 1 views

An expired card is one of the most common, and most avoidable, reasons a service ends up suspended. Updating it takes under a minute.

Where to Update It

Log in to your Client Area and go to Billing > Payment Methods. You'll see your current method on file and an option to add or replace it.

Adding a New Method

Enter your new card details or connect an alternative payment option like PayPal, then set it as your default method for future charges.

Removing an Old Method

Once your new method is confirmed working, you can remove the outdated one to avoid any confusion about which will be charged next.

Updating Before It's a Problem

If you know your card is about to expire, updating proactively avoids any interruption — CyberNet also sends renewal reminders in advance, giving you another chance to catch it.

Applying a New Method to a Specific Service

If you manage multiple services and want different payment methods for different ones, each service's individual billing settings let you assign a specific method rather than relying only on the account-wide default.
