Every hosting plan lists a set of resource numbers. Here's what each one actually means for your website.
CPU
CPU is your processing power — it determines how many tasks (like generating a page or running a script) your account can handle at once. A busy WordPress site with lots of plugins uses more CPU than a static HTML page.
RAM (Memory)
RAM is temporary working memory. Running out of it typically causes slow page loads or memory errors, especially on database-driven sites like WordPress or WooCommerce.
Storage
This is your disk space for files, databases, and email. Media-heavy sites with lots of images and videos use storage far faster than text-based sites.
Bandwidth
Bandwidth is the total data transferred between your site and its visitors each month. High-traffic sites or those serving large downloads consume bandwidth quickly.
How to Know You're Close to a Limit
Your Plesk dashboard shows real-time resource usage under Statistics. If you're consistently near 80% of any limit, it's a good time to consider upgrading before it affects your visitors.
